Oven Neat

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Oven Neat. By booking or using our services, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Services

Oven Neat provides professional oven, range hood, hob, and related appliance cleaning services for residential and commercial clients.

Services are limited to cleaning only and do not include appliance repairs, servicing, or installation.

 2. Bookings

⁃             Bookings can be made via our website, phone, email, or other approved communication channels.

⁃              All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Oven Neat.

⁃             Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate contact and address details are provided at the time of booking.

3. Payment Terms

⁃             Payment is due on completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

⁃              Accepted payment methods will be advised at the time of booking or invoicing.

⁃              For commercial or repeat clients, payment terms may be agreed separately.

⁃             Late or unpaid invoices may incur follow-up action and/or additional fees.

Oven Neat reserves the right to withhold future services until outstanding balances are settled.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. Our policy is as follows:

⁃             More than 24 hours’ notice: No cancellation fee

⁃             Less than 24 hours’ notice: A cancellation or rescheduling fee may apply

⁃             Same-day cancellations or no-shows: May be charged up to half of the full-service fee

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made as soon as possible.

 5. Access and Safety

⁃             Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to the property and appliances at the scheduled time.

⁃             Appliances must be cool prior to the appointment.

⁃              Oven Neat reserves the right to refuse or discontinue a service if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.

6. Existing Appliance Condition

Oven Neat is not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or faults in appliances.

This includes, but is not limited to:

⁃              Rust, corrosion, or flaking enamel

⁃              Cracked glass, faulty seals, or loose components

⁃              Electrical or mechanical faults

⁃             Discolouration or damage caused by age or previous cleaning attempts

Some appliances may reveal existing damage once built-up grease or carbon is removed.

7. Breakages and Service Issues

While all care is taken, Oven Neat is not liable for damage resulting from:

⁃              Age-related deterioration

⁃             Manufacturer defects

⁃              Previously weakened or compromised components

⁃              Any accidental damage caused directly by Oven Neat must be reported at the time of service or within 24 hours.

Liability, where applicable, is limited to the cost of the service provided.

8. Service Outcomes

⁃             Cleaning results may vary depending on the age, condition, and previous maintenance of the appliance.

⁃             Oven Neat does not guarantee that all stains, discolouration, or damage can be fully removed.

⁃              A “like-new” appearance is not guaranteed, particularly for older or heavily used appliances.

 9. Refusal of Service

Oven Neat reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service where:

⁃              Unsafe working conditions exist

⁃             Aggressive or inappropriate behaviour occurs

⁃             Appliances are deemed unsuitable for cleaning

⁃              Payment issues or unresolved disputes exist

10. Privacy

All personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

 11. Changes to Terms

Oven Neat may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
